Haven't dug into EF much. Seen bunch of presentations, but LINQ generally provides enough. Still leary of ORMs in general.

You can still use stored procs with LINQ to SQL. Using them on current project. Just need a mapper, one is built into VS.

The new dell is step up from D830. Biggest benefit is i5 proc, 8GB RAM, and eSATA port (very nice). Wish screen res was higher.
